There was a Live Stream Web Telecast of The Knights Of Columbus International Free Throw Basketball Championship on You Tube, which I produced over 6 Months ago. Since there are Motherlodes of this same competition on You Tube, and I had done the 2011 Production on Vimeo, Dailymotion, Blip.tv & You Tube, it was You Tube which drew the LEAST in actual viewers. The Blip.tv 1st Round Coverage actually outdrew the 4 Rounds of You Tube Coverage, it means that You Tube is way too oveerrated as an outlet.
The Dailymotion Delayed Webcast will be recorded from the Dailymotion App & uploaded. The Webcast will be fed to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr & Google+. It will not be on You Tube.
A less crowded option has worked here before & drew viewers. Being on the same service where everybody is, well it’s Overkill. And You Tube is Overkill.
In 2011, Blip.tv linked into Vimeo, VodPod, AOL Video, iTunes, Google Play, Windows Store, PlayStation & Xbox, as well as Facebook & Twitter. Vimeo, at the Long Island Final of The Knights Of Columbus International Free Throw Basketball Championship, received a Wotldwide Audience of 75,000. Dailymotion became the Main Coverage, as Round Two was cartied on the RTL Belgian Website, which is Europe’s Largest TV Metwork. By this point, You Tube was Irrelevant. You Tube was outdrawn by Dailymotion, 3 to 1. Even the largely Canadian Audience no longer followed on You Tube.
Round One is Dailymotion, along with Round Three, recorded on the Dailymotion App & Subtitled.
