“Christ Is Risen, Indeed He Is Risen”(Julian Calendar)

Today, on the Julian Calendar, in the Armenian & Byzantine Rites, both in & out of Union with The Holy See of Rome, Pascua(Easter) was celebrated in Liturgy & Chant.

Fr Ilya Bronovskyy, OSBM(Order of St. Basil The Great, Ordo Sancti Basilli Magni), who serves St. George Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, offered the Sunday 4PM Easter Divine Liturgy. At the end of The Holy Mass, all who wished to be annointed, were annointed with Chrism.

The Gospel According to St. John, The Incarnation, was preached by Most Reverend Paul Patrick Chomnicky(OSBM), Bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Stamford, CT.. If one is a veteran of the Tridentine Latin Mass, one genuflects at these words “And The Word Was Made Flesh”(<<Et Verbum Caro Factus Est>>).
